"The Naked Truth About ENDA" by Christina Elford

----------------------

Stop the ENDA, the Employment Non-Discrimination Act, S 1584, in the Senate!

Here’s our new battle plan.

1. First protest ENDA to the Senators from your state. Call 1-877-851-6437 or 1-202-225-3121. The capitol operator will route you to their offices.

2. Protest to those Senators still straddling the fence, possibly because of the transgender provision:

  • Mark Warner (D-VA)
  • Kent Conrad (D-ND)
  • Byron Dorgan (D-ND)
  • Tim Johnson (D-SD)
  • Jay Rockefeller (D-WV)
  • Robert Byrd (D-WV)
  • Harry Reid (D-NV)
  • Max Baucus (D-MT)
  • Ben Nelson (D-NE)
  • John Tester (D-MT)
  • Kay Hagan (D-NC)
  • Evan Bayh (D-IN)
  • Scott Brown (R-MA)

Tell their staffers, “Please tell the Senator not to vote for the disgusting ENDA bill, S.1584. It would entitle male employees who claim they want to become a woman to use female restroom and shower facilities. We will never forget or forgive the Democrats, especially at midterms, if the Senator votes for this obscene legislation.”

Actual Text (excerpts) from Senate Bill, S1584,:
Section 3. Definitions., (a) In General- In this Act:, (6) GENDER IDENTITY- The term `gender identity' means the gender-related identity, appearance, or mannerisms or other gender-related characteristics of an individual, with or without regard to the individual's designated sex at birth.

Section 8. Construction., (a) Employer Rules and Policies., (3) CERTAIN SHARED FACILITIES- Nothing in this Act shall be construed to establish an unlawful employment practice based on actual or perceived gender identity due to the denial of access to shared shower or dressing facilities in which being seen unclothed is unavoidable, provided that the employer provides reasonable access to adequate facilities that are not inconsistent with the employee's gender identity as established with the employer at the time of employment or upon notification to the employer that the employee has undergone or is undergoing gender transition, whichever is later.

It is clear that ENDA’s greatest vulnerability is its insistence on allowing voyeurs to share bathroom and shower facilities, possibly with your daughter in college.

There has never been a better time to defeat ENDA. New England’s largest homosexual newspaper, www.baywindows.com, admits this.

'And things are looking a little tough for ENDA these days. The right wing has stepped up its rhetoric considerably in recent days, sounding an alarm. An editorial in the conservative Washington Times in DC on April 23 said “first graders should not be forced into the classrooms of teachers undergoing sex changes. Religious broadcasters and faith-based summer camps should not be forced to hire cross-dressers. Women should not be forced to share bathrooms with people with male body parts who say they want to be females. Yet those are some of the likely results if Congress passes ENDA, said the editorial. Capitol Hill newspaper Roll Call ran two articles on Monday reporting that support was slipping for ENDA because of the inclusion of gender identity in this year’s bill.'

Let’s grease the skids even more for ENDA, sending it sliding back where it came from: the pit of Hell.

New Video: "The Naked Truth About ENDA"
by Christina Elford, Tea Party Supporter and admirer of the National Prayer Network

Christina Elford, just turned 20, is a Tea Party supporter who is determined to wake up other Tea Partiers to bigger issues than just taxes. Last fall, on her own initiative, she laboriously typed in her own e-list of more than 600 Tea Party chapters in America. She has since informed them weekly with news and articles from Truthtellers.org.

Concerned about possible passage of ENDA, Christina (20) and NPN filmmaker Becki Pike (28) have produced a hard-hitting, fast-moving five-minute video, "The Naked Truth About ENDA." This video should inspire all lovers of freedom to call wavering Senators this week. But it should especially motivate young people of high school and college age. NPN encourages you to watch it now and show it at your church and youth groups this Wednesday and Sunday. This week could determine if ENDA loses all steam or creeps over the finish line to passage in both House and Senate. If viewed widely, "The Naked Truth About ENDA" could play an important role in ending the hopes of this frightening legislation.

Want to do more?

Call the House and Senate Judiciary Committees. 1-877-851-6437 toll-free or 1-202-225-3121 toll.

Demand that the Judiciaries hold ENDA hearings. Tell the Republican Judiciary members to fight ENDA vigorously. Also give them the same disturbing message that this bill would allow "transitioning" men to enter women's restrooms and showers.
