ILLINOIS WILL PROSECUTE BRETT VANASDLEN
By Rev. Ted Pike

Unresponsive to protest from across America , Illinois State ’s
Attorney Julia Rietz moves forward in “hate crimes” prosecution
against Christian teen and scholarship athlete Brett VanAsdlen. On
October 7th at 11:00 AM the State will present evidence for its accusation
that Brett is a hate criminal for pushing over accosting homosexual,
Steven Velasquez. If found guilty, Brett could spend three years
behind bars.
This is yet another example of the power and audacity of Orwellian
hate laws to possibly ruin the life of anyone, young or old, who
offends a homosexual. Although the chances of deterring the state
of Illinois through protest are fading, lovers of freedom can still
make the hate crimes gestapo pay for this outrage. They can publicize
and criticize the hate law of Illinois and hate laws in general as
widely as possible. The Illinois hate law should be repealed, just
as Pennsylvania recently repealed the portion of its hate law which
gave special protection to homosexuals. Protest through radio talk
shows, internet, church and civic groups, as well as word of mouth.
