LET'S KILL THE HATE BILL IN HOUSE JUDICIARY!

Last Friday, appointments to the House Judiciary Subcommittee on
Crime, Terror, and Homeland Security were finalized. Consideration
of the federal hate crimes bill (H.R. 254) now goes forward in this
committee.
Because the hate bill was passed by the House in 2005, the subcommittee
on crime is entitled to move it out of committee by a simple "yes" or "no" vote
without deliberation. It would then go to the House Judiciary Committee,
which could deal with it in the same way and send it to a full vote
in the House.
Several weeks ago we saw the determination of Democrats to pass
grassroots-crushing Section 220 of the lobby reform bill. They would
not allow Republicans to present Sen. Bennett's amendment which called
for a vote to strip it off. Fortunately, Republicans, bolstered by
many thousands of calls critical of Section 220, held their ground.
They denied the bullying Democrats the 60 votes necessary to pass
the lobby reform bill, including Sec. 220. Only as a result of such
pressure were the Democrats stopped. Reluctantly, they sacrificed
Sec. 220 in order to pass the general lobby reform bill, S.1.
But Democrats are much more determined to pass the ADL-designed
federal hate bill. They have been defeated six times since 1998 but
now command a majority of votes in the House and are just six votes
shy of the 60 needed in the Senate. They are also encouraged by appointment
to head of the House Judiciary of veteran hate bill promoter Rep.
John Conyers Jr. (Democrat).
Republican resistance to the hate bill still exists throughout
the House Judiciary and its subcommittee. If these Republicans are
encouraged by an avalanche of mail and phone calls against the hate
bill, there is an excellent chance they will act as they have before:
providing obstacles to rapid movement of the hate bill through Judiciary.
Here's what each of us must do immediately to slow down and hopefully
kill the hate bill before it reaches the floor of the House:
- Since the entire House Judiciary Committee will determine the
future of the hate bill, every member must be called immediately.

We have to prejudice Judiciary members and their staff against
the hate bill before this ultra-dangerous legislation is actively
considered.
Here is our ultimate objective: We want to make the hate bill
so public and well understood that this "stealth legislation" can
no longer move forward under the radar of public scrutiny. Politicians
dread highly controversial legislation which polarizes their constituents.
If a politician votes with one faction, the other is offended and
may not reelect him. The more debated and high profile a piece of
legislation becomes, the higher the chance that Congress will favor
its early death in committee.
In my hate laws flyer, I identify the Anti-Defamation League of
B'nai B'rith as architect of hate laws worldwide. This is to make
ADL so odious to members of Congress that they will be reluctant
to advocate or pass ADL-inspired legislation. Alienating members
of Congress from ADL hate laws is a powerful first step toward also
distancing them from obedience to Israel lobby and AIPAC, with its
war-making Mideast agenda.
A flood of calls to the House Judiciary and all members of Congress,
but particularly the House at this crucial time, will alert Capitol
Hill to mounting grassroots rebellion against Zionist supremacism.
Your calls assure politicians that they will be applauded, not ruined,
if they defy ADL and the Zionist lobby.
Each of us has power to hasten the funeral of H.R. 254
and ADL. Every phone call and flyer is a nail hammered into their
coffins. If enough truth goes into Congress, exploding the myth
and misinformation of ADL's Orwellian hate law agenda, then such
legislation will not just die in the present session of Congress;
it may well never be resurrected. ADL will have to devise an entirely
new, diabolical and twisted scheme to take away our freedom. That
could take years -- years in which we, our children, and even our
grandchildren may still enjoy the gift of liberty which God gives
to every creature. This freedom is our right to go where we want,
think our own thoughts, speak and make decisions free of government
oppression.
