TALK SHOW HOSTS: IT’S A PERFECT TIME
TO
SAVE YOUR OCCUPATION!
By Rev. Ted Pike
In 1947, the United Nations’ Genocide Treaty defined genocide as inflicting “mental
harm” upon people, possibly through criticism of them. Such was, perhaps,
the earliest example of “thought crime” legislation. Since then,
the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B‘rith has played the predominant
role in promoting not only the Genocide Treaty, but “thought crime,” i.e. “anti-hate” laws,
worldwide. These laws, if enacted by the United States, mean the end of free
speech talk radio. This has happened in Canada and other nations which have adopted
ADL hate laws.
Yet many Christian/conservative organizations and broadcasters
are reluctant to criticize hate laws. They are fearful that ADL will
consider such criticism as attack on the legislative agenda of a
worldwide Jewish religious and cultural organization, B’nai
B’rith. As a result, such broadcasters, fearing an ADL smear
against them as being “anti-semitic,” remain silent.
However, it is now ADL and B’nai B’rith, not those
who tell the truth, who are most vulnerable to ruin of reputation.
This is talk radio’s golden opportunity to speak out and insure
the preservation of its unique voice in a confused world.
HERE ARE THREE REASONS TO SPEAK OUT AGAINST HATE LAWS
Reason #1: ADL/B’nai B’rith Has Massively Offended
Many Christians
For the past century, Christian evangelicals have regarded the
Jews and their leaders as friends, co-inheritors of a “Judaeo-Christian” religious
heritage. Yet, ADL’s savage attack on eleven Christians in
Philadelphia on Oct. 10th, arresting them as “hate criminals” with
penalties up to 47 years in prison, has created shock waves of suspicion
and alienation against Jews and their leaders. The “love affair” of
evangelicals toward Jews is threatened, with many evangelicals feeling
not just jilted, but savagely raped. The ADL, having arrested the “Philly
eleven” Christians through the authority of their national
executive board member, Philadelphia District Attorney Lynne Abraham,
is now under public suspicion as never before in its 92-year history.
Question: Is ADL now likely to lash out against another Christian
broadcaster or organization that criticizes its hate laws?
Forget
it.
At present, ADL wants to stay as far away from public “Christian
bashing” as it can – that is, until Christians’ wounds
heal. This is the perfect time, then, for broadcasters to begin an
educational program against hate laws.
REASON #2: Congress Received Much Criticism of ADL Hate Laws
The ADL was deeply shaken, even disoriented, by massive public
disgust at their attempt to jump-start persecution of Christians
in Philadelphia on Oct. 10th. How do we know this?
After defeat of their federal hate bill, “The Local Law Enforcement
Enhancement Act of 2004,” (Amdt. 3183) in Congress on Oct.
8th, 2004, ADL introduced another version of it, HR 259, on Jan.
6th, 2005. This coincided with the reconvening of Congress, about
3 months earlier than their usual schedule for re-submission. Such
abruptness was bravado, dramatizing to Congress that, though thrice
defeated and under withering criticism, they were eager to re-submit
their hate bill. They would fulfill their promise to never give up
until hate laws became the law of the land.
In reality, ADL was in disarray. They were unnerved by how much
feedback Congress was receiving against “anti-hate” legislation.
As a result, lest members of Congress actually read their bill, a
jittery ADL gutted HR 259 of much of its most important, yet potentially
very alarming provisions. Such were vital ADL legislation necessary
to break down states’ rights in law enforcement and establish
a virtual police state – an anti-hate federal bureaucracy identical
to Canada’s of which ADL would be in control. (Compare HR 259
and HR 2662 at http://thomas.loc.gov/)
The removed provisions empower the federal government to take over
local law enforcement if:
Also highly significant is the fact that, last winter, ADL introduced
HR 259 into the House Judiciary in virtual secrecy. Omitted was the
usual press hooplah. There was none of the customary public posturing
by such ADL lackeys as Sen. Edward Kennedy and Sen. Gordon Smith,
beating their breasts in pity for Matt Shepard – “sending a message that hate crimes will no longer be
tolerated in America” – as if hate crimes were being tolerated.
Yes, on May 26th, confident that the church and nation would soon
forget the threat of hate laws, ADL leaders did regain their composure.
In fact, they introduced a new hate bill, re-inserting the deleted
provisions, stiffer than any before it, “The Local Law Enforcement
Hate Crimes Prevention Act of 2005,” HR 2662, S 1145. This
new hate bill, while not giving special federal protection to the
unborn, grants such favoritism to men who dress up like women – transvestites!
In retrospect, ADL’s period of panic last winter proves how
rattled they can become if their misdeeds are made the focus of critical
media scrutiny. The American people, roused to anger and besieging
Congress, is a force which Congress and ADL still fear.
REASON #3: ADL Is Less Likely to Smear Its Critics After A Crushing
Legal Defeat
Recently, ADL was slammed with a roughly 12.5 million dollar final
judgment for labeling a movie executive and his wife “anti-semitic.” ADL’s
libel against William Quigley had ruined his career in the Jewish
film industry. The ADL, whose very name eschews defamation, has never
been reluctant to defame as “anti-semitic” those who
criticize matters Jewish. That time they went too far.
This massive judgment virtually ends any possibility that ADL will
accuse Christian/conservative broadcasters of “anti-semitism” for
merely criticizing ADL’s hate crime agenda. If they did, such
broadcasters might also get rich at ADL’s expense!
JOIN THE CHASE!
Christian leaders, broadcasters, and talk show hosts, now is the
moment to educate the public against hate laws and guarantee the
future of free speech talk radio in America. Will you join the National
Prayer Network and at least 35 radio and TV talk show hosts, including
Alex Jones and Jeff Rense, as we help put an end to ADL’s corrupting
influence on America?
Rabbi Daniel Lapin has labelled ADL leader Abe Foxman as the Jews’ “own
worst enemy.” Stand with us as we protect the Jewish people
from the worldwide anti-semitism that such evil Jewish leadership
incites against the Jewish people through their anti-Christianity
and subversion of freedom.
By doing so, you will help save free speech for generations to
come.
However, the organization, livelihood, and talk show you save NOW
will be your own.
