VANASDLEN 'HATE CRIME' HEARING POSTPONED
By Rev. Ted Pike
3 Jul 08
The July 1 second preliminary hearing in the "hate crime" prosecution
of Christian teen and athlete Brett Vanasdlen was delayed. No one,
including Brett's lawyer, knows when it will be rescheduled.
Meanwhile, this week's massive telephone protest to state attorney
Julia Rietz remains an excellent investment. Our hope is that, as
with the hate crime arrests of the "Philly 11," consistent
repeated public disapproval will result in wearying of the prosecution
and the case being thrown out.
TAKE ACTION! Call the Champaign County state attorney,
Julia Rietz, (217-384-3733) and urge her to drop the biased felony "hate
crimes" charge against Brett VanAsdlen. She should know that
countless Americans are angry at her trumped-up charge and she has
much more to lose than gain by continuing her prosecution (persecution)
of an innocent Christian teen. CALL NOW!
