WHY MOST JEWS DON'T LIKE SARAH PALIN

Week’s recent piece, "Small-Town Palin Big Problem
for Jews" (9/11/08), says of Sarah Palin's Christian/conservative
populist ideals: ''Jewish voters have traditionally been turned
off by such values.” Former New York Mayor Ed Koch, reflective
of Jewish liberalism, says, "Governor Palin scares the hell
out of me."
Most Americans unquestioningly believe America is the product
of a “Judeo-Christian
tradition” of upright morals and values. Yet statistics say that most American
Jews support a liberal, anti-Christian agenda. Polls show a possible 87 percent
of American Jewish voters helped elect the predominantly pro-homosexual Democratic
majority in the US House of Representatives (See, Jewish
Week article). The American Jewish community boldly backs liberal
priorities including a federal hate crimes law, homosexual rights, abortion,
etc. On these issues the Jewish community could not be more at loggerheads with
evangelicals.
Why? This article gives a brief overview of Jewish history and aspirations over
the past 2,600 years. This overlooked history helps
explain why most Jews are liberal today.
Following
the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 AD, and later failure of the
Bar Cochba rebellion, all Jews in Palestine dispersed throughout
the ancient world. Nearly a millennium later in the 11th century
AD, the populous Jewish descendants of the tribe of Judah (exiled
to Babylon 1,600 years earlier), were expelled from Babylon.
Regretfully leaving their second "new promised land," perhaps
millions of Jews spread through North Africa and the Mediterranean,
clear into Spain. In Spain, Jewish learning and culture blossomed
under Muslim protection.
But after expulsion in 1492, "Sephardic" (Spanish) Jews moved into the nations
of Western Europe. Closeted in Talmudic racial exclusivity, they remained relatively
pure descendants of the ancient Jews of Judea and Babylon.

Westerly
migration of Jews from Palestine and Babylon is only half the
modern Jewish story.
In the 9th century A.D., the central Eurasian nation of Khazaria contained
possibly several million Gentile "Khazars." They converted to Judaism! Soon
forgetting they were Gentile, these proselytes grew as passionately devoted
to the Talmud, and especially Zohar (Kabbalah), as authentic Jews in the west.
The Khazar converts were also driven westward where they laid the foundation
for vast "Ashkenazi" populations of "Jews" in Poland, Eastern Europe and Russia.

By the 17th century, authentic Jews in France, Germany,
England, Holland, etc. were well adjusted to Christian
civilization. Though often persecuted, they generally
benefited from its advantages and influence. In contrast,
"Jews" of Eastern Europe knew virtually nothing of the west.
Backward, illiterate, and isolated, most Ashkenazim, even as
late as the mid-19th century, lived in a narrow world of Talmudic
self-righteousness and anti-Gentile bigotry. Their lives
were darkened by every kind of occultry and superstition
from Kabbalah’s
magical and revolutionary visions.
Throughout the Renaissance, western Jews heard of vast numbers of eastern European
Jews but knew almost nothing about them. By the 16th century, relations were
established. German Jews and Polish Ashkenazi began to intermarry.

Move into the Modern World
Toward the
end of the 18th century, broad characteristics of Western and
Eastern Jewry emerged. In the west—influenced by Moses
Mendelssohn and the Reform movement—Jews began to strongly
identify with the working class. They considered the religious,
monarchial, capitalist classes to be exploiters. Meanwhile, Eastern
European Jews remained enthralled by Kabbalah’s mystical
dreams of messianic world domination.
In the decades preceding the French Revolution in 1789, Ashkenazi charlatans
and political intriguers (such as Jacob Frank) migrated west from Poland and
joined Jewish Kabbalists (Faulk, St. Germaine, Cagliostro, and the possibly
Jewish Adam Weishaupt) in the west. Together they forged Illuminism, an ultra-secret
attempt to undermine Christian civilization. Believing Christian/capitalistic
society must be overthrown to hasten world rule by a Jewish Messiah, they infused
European freemasonry with this sinister goal. 1
Jewish academic authorities, such as the Jewish encyclopedias, boast of the
leadership and organizational genius provided by 19th century Jews to the many
proto-socialist revolutions throughout Europe. Proclaiming "liberty, equality
and fraternity" to all oppressed people, Jews from both west and east merged
to create what we now know as both socialism and liberalism.

Create Liberalism in America
In the latter
part of the 19th century, massive numbers of Jews from Western
and Eastern Europe immigrated to the United States. Many Marxist
Jews flooded into America as a result of persecution by the Czar
and after their abortive 1905 Jewish-led revolution in Russia.
They were subsidized and transplanted throughout America by Jewish
financial magnate Jacob Schiff (who also financed the Bolshevik
revolution). The Jewish
Encyclopedia says such Jews became “peddlers of
socialism” and “pioneers of the socialist parties” in
their newly adopted land. 2
Jewish socialists and communists were embraced and welcomed into Roosevelt's “New
Deal.” American Jewish high finance was the extension of Jewish international
banking. It united the private Jewish-dominated Federal Reserve with the goals
of the Rothschilds, Warbergs, and other Jewish banking houses of Europe. 3 Jewish
immigrants from Germany and Eastern Europe also created the Hollywood film
industry and radio and TV mega-media. (See, Jews

Boosted by the Roosevelt administration, Jews and American liberalism became
synonymous.
American Jewry was thus cast into a mold of pro-liberal, anti-Christian attitudes
that remain to this moment. (See, Jewish

Jewish
Aversion to Palin
This helps
explain the fear and suspicion Sarah Palin instills in most Jews.
The Jewish Week describes
her as combining a “blend of small-town populism, strong
evangelical faith' and 'long-time commitment to the issues of
the religious right.” These are basically the same core
values which Jewish progressives have opposed over at least the
past two centuries.
Christians certainly do share the
upright values of the Old Testament. Yet moral unity with the Jewish people
ended when they demanded that Christ be crucified. Since then, it is hard to
imagine two groups of people with fewer shared values.
Once, when I was interviewed by radio talk host Danette Daniels, she exclaimed
that Judaism and Christianity are so very similar and close, it’s a tragedy
that Jews and Christians stand apart.
No real distance? To say that rejection of Jesus Christ, and vehement opposition
to His gospel, doesn’t distance Christians and Jews is like saying there
is no real distance between the earth and the moon.
